The Average Student: The Week in Retrospect

Hrm. So, last week was not a very eventful week, as I recall it. Or rather, I can't recall much about it! That's because it was so boring. Like I've previously mentioned, I just wasn't digging Halloween this year for whatever reason.

Last Monday, we watched Do The Right Thing in my film class, and it was a good film, but hard to watch. Painful, almost, but I liked the characters. They were believable. On Tuesday I worked, Wednesday class and a hectic work day. Thursday I had to get up extra gross early for my volunteer project -and that day started out crappy, turned out to be amazing. I had a great time with those high school kids.

But, as it turns out, I am anemic (I think). I got my period, slept for 10 hours, and was dead tired. Slept some more. It was like a drained battery. I got some iron pills and that seemed to help. Ugh. So drained, I can't even tell you!!!!

Saturday was a hectic day at work in which I ended up working 40 minutes later than what I'm paid for. Yay. I just love volunteering. **eyeroll** Anywhoooo....After that, some good friends and I went to Applebee's for dinner. It's hard for me to eat out because I'm vegetarian, or at least hard at places like Applebee's. They put bacon on my salad...of all the things that don't need bacon!

I also ordered a very sour margarita (gotta enjoy being 21) and got a little tipsy haha. I think I like frozen margaritas or daquiris better -like a slushy!!! I wish I could do jello shots but they have gelatin. No good. At Applebee's we wound up watching the Trailblazers beat the Nicks, it was funny. Only one of my friends actually likes watching sports, but we were all into it. The power of giant TVs...

After that, one friend went home, and my other friend went home with my roommate and I. We watched The Hangover and drank lots of beer. I want to drink beer....LOL I didn't get drunk though, it's not really my objective. I'm dumb and sleepy enough as it is.

Sunday, I ate a bunch of candy, felt sick, and had an EYETWITCH all day. IT WAS SO ANNOYING! I put on a costume that turned out pretty lame, but I just stayed home and passed out candy anyway. My roommate and I watched Psych and Zombieland, and we did our homework.

Actually, I got a 10/10 on my essay, which I just pulled out my ass. I also got 10.5/10 on my calc quiz, which I should've got a 7/10 on. The reason I did better was that the first question was NOT on the assigned homework list (which I, average student, ignore religiously), and so the professor felt bad and made it extra credit. I got .5 points for my efforts, haha. Bad efforts, really. But I'm not complaining -I LIKE CALCULUS darnit.
